New Art!

Just a quick little piece of work I did last night at about 5 a.m.

Not much else, really. I'm working on some things here and there now,

so hopefully the blog won't be boring now!

First Update of 2011

Happy (very belated) New Year to you guys! I know I've made myself more than scarce as of late, and I do apologize for that. It's been hectic here with college, and now all of my artistic energies are focused on my projects for my courses (being an art major and all). But that isn't to say that I've forgotten about you guys!

I know that you probably miss the art updates from me, and there seems to be way too many entries with me just blabbering about whatever is going on with me and my life, I'm sure. But I'm slowly going to be drawing more and more as time goes on, and if you're interested, I wouldn't mind showing some of my work for class on the site as well. I have some commissions to finish; just one or two, and then I can just draw for the hell of it. That would be nice to see, wouldn't it?

Anyhow, just a quick update to let you all know that I haven't dropped off of the face of the planet. More art on the way, I promise!

Slow to art. Apologies all around.

I've been sick again, as it seems. I owe a few commissions, I know, and I apologize for the long wait. I'll be getting them done as soon as I can. 'm just taking a bit of time to recuperate myself.

Just updating with an inked and colored version of one of the pictures I posted last time.

I'm on a roll compared to the pace I was posting art before, but it's still just sketches; no finished art for me. Maybe next time! I haven't been feeling too creative, so they're pretty lame pictures of characters of mine, and things. Hopefully you guys won't mind the fail, yes? More pictures to be added later.

I've been dead.

Sorry about the sudden disappearing acts I've been performing as of late. I haven't been myself lately, and I've been more preoccupied with other things at the moment. 'm not drawing as much anymore, at least, not as anti-o. My apologies, and I'll scribble some stuff later on.

Serious Problems. Please Read.

I hate making things kinds of posts on an art journal, but I have no options left, and I come to you on humbled knees. I NEED help.

A close and personal friend of mine whom I owe my very life is going through a giant crisis right now. He doesn't have enough money for food, electricity, or rent. Which is all overdue as of right now. His electricity will be shut off Monday, and he has $6 to his name for food. He does have a job, but it doesn't pay well, and to be perfectly honest, finding a second job in this state is nigh impossible. I'm trying to help him as much as I c an, but alas, I have little to no money because of bills and going to the hospital a few times in February.

I know that asking for donations is considered rude in the art community, but I don't have the time to open commissions. I mean, I could institute a 'pay now, art later' ordeal, in which I wholeheartedly swear to give you the work you've asked for, but this is a time-sensitive ordeal. I need money, and I need it soon, for him.

I wouldn't be coming to the community for this if it were something miniscule, and I deeply apologize for coming to you all regardless. But I do care about this person more than anyone can understand, and thus, I do these things for his benefit only.

Every little bit counts, and even if I don't get him the full amount of money he needs just for rent, a little will go a long way for him. I want to at LEAST get him money for food, guys. Please, please help me. I have nowhere else to go.

I'm still alive, really! I'm just having a hard time cranking art out at the moment. I may be a while before anything GOOD is posted onto the blog, but at least have a token of apology from yours truly.

Back into the internet, I go.
